Öztaş, NailUlutürk, Fatma2021-08-292021-08-2920202718-1065https://hdl.handle.net/11363/2908In this study, data obtained by the quantitative method, which were surveyed to examine the cause-and-end relationship; factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA and regression analyses were carried out with the SPSS statistics program. The population of the research was 6745 people working in the electronics and optics sector in Ankara Organized Industrial Zones and 464 people were sampled from the study. Regression equation results reveal that emotional intelligence has a positive effect on work performance, emotional intelligence affects the job satisfaction of individuals, and it is decisive upon life satisfaction resulting in the total satisfaction of individuals. However, cognitive intelligence (IQ) alone does not affect employee performance. Consequently, high levels of emotional intelligence of individuals also positively affect their social life, job satisfaction and performance.
